Sailing can't be more exciting then using Catamarans. We have 2 Hobie 15 Catamarans which are easy to use and very safe. All our lessons are run by I.S.A. qualified and experienced instructors. Other non-accredited courses can also be offered.

Location - The courses are held in Killary Harbour, Ireland’s only fjord. It’s a very safe sheltered area surrounded by beautiful scenery.

COURSE: A Taste of Sailing - (1 day)

This course gives you the best possible introduction to sailing. It’s all about setting out and trying it, getting wet and having fun as you quickly progress and gain confidence. An experienced instructor will be with you at all times who will also point you in the right direction for future progression, in this wide ranging and exciting sport.

Option Level: 1 / 2 proficiency award.

COURSE: Start Sailing - Level 1 - (2 days)

Moving on from our taster session, this course is designed for you to take over steering and using the sail. Some theory is also introduced to help you understand more, but you will be on the water for most of it.

COURSE: Basic Skills - Level 2 - (2 days)

This stage gives you the confidence and knowledge to launch and recover a boat and sail safely, to the best of your ability.  By the end of this course you are qualified and recognised to be able to go sailing on your own.

COURSE: Advanced Sailing Skills - Level 3 - (5 days)

If you have tried sailing and want a more specialised course this is for you. You will look for more specific skills, safety training and improve your confidence in stronger winds.

Pre-requisite – Level 2 award or equivalent experience. This award requires ongoing experience towards assessment level as briefed on training course.

Please note the prices for the course give an option of 'all inclusive' this includes 2 nights B & B, (4 bedded dorm room, ensuite with continental breakfast) one 3 course dinner and 2 lunches. In the case of 5-day courses, 5 night B&B, and four dinners are included.  Courses are run based on a minimum of 4 being booked on the course.
