of this beautiful region on the Western Coast of Ireland. Discover the unique beauty of Killary Harbour, the beautiful Glassilaun beach, Kylemore Abbey and the famous

Connemara lakes. This tour is available with 3 choices of accommodation to suit your budget (B&B, Hotel or Hostel).

 

This tour is specifically designed for independent travellers, who wish to cycle less of a distance and spend relaxing lazy days along the way for in-depth explorations of the

various cultural and natural attractions of the wonderful Connemara region. Connemara - the western wonderland of Europe, where rugged mountains soar

above wild Atlantic beaches. It is also a land of great contrast from mountain to sea.  Daily cycling will range from 30km on low traffic back-roads, the terrain isn’t flat,

but neither is it hilly, rather a rolling countryside. Accommodation is in wonderful guesthouses and B&Bs or in Hotels, with some dinners included, but all the lunches are left to your own sourcing. Detailed route descriptions, local information and maps are provided.

 

This tour offers families with children (above the age of 8 years) independent cycling in fantastic settings, the opportunity to discover the many untouched places while trying out some interesting outdoor activities for the whole family. Go horseriding on Connemara Ponies, the only native Irish breed of Equine originating from Connemara area. Visit the beautiful island of Inishbofin and try some outdoor activities in the Killary Adventure Centre. We provide well-chosen pre-booked accommodation, as well as bikes. The luggage is transferred each day in order to lighten the load. A full itinerary, maps, and suggested options are also part of this attractive package.
