Killary is situated in one of the most stunning locations in Ireland, surrounded by mountains in every direction waiting to challenge you. There are different levels of Hill Walking open to you from a leisurely walk along the relatively flat ‘Famine Walk’ to the more adventurous day long Hill Walk along the ‘Mweelrea Horse Shoe’, named as one of the most difficult walks in Ireland.
